What to Wear

Dark, solid colors are preferable. Since we’ll be using a variety of locations and backdrops, the darker colors help to emphasize your face and eyes.

Also, make sure clothes are ironed, de-haired and ready to rock. It's a small detail, but it makes a big difference.

Hair & Make Up

A make-up artist is available and highly recommended. For one, it's always beneficial to have another set of eyes present at a photoshoot. For two, securing a makeup artist frees up more opportunity to play & create.

The rate for hair & make-up for an entire session is $80, paid to the artist the day of the shoot.

Printing

Luckily, there's no need to format your headshots yourself! When you receive your headshots from me, the shots are fully formatted so all you have to do: send 'em to the printer.

For quality printing of your headshots, I highly recommend A&B Photo in downtown Chicago. They're fast, reliable and consistent with a great eye for skin tones.

Rate

I have one flat rate for taking headshots which covers your consultation, photography session, editing & final formatting of five selected photos, and a disk of all photos taken that day.
